F FISCHER PHOTOGRAPHER

In early 2007, I was informed Kodak would no longer make High Speed Infrared film. I had a trip planned to Prague and Vienna and when it came time to buy film, I made a decision to use that film money to convert a Nikon D70 to infrared. With less than 3 weeks to the trip, I crash-learned how to capture a good digital infrared file. The digital range is different, the largest distinction is that the shadow areas have considerably more detail. I still have that camera, it is now a old friend.
